Definition

In Asset Accounting, you can define a number of asset views at which assets can be defined. You can specify authorizations in these views for the field groups of the asset master record.

When you define depreciation areas, you can also assign authorizations to the views as regards the depreciation areas.

These authorizations can be grouped as follows:

• Change authorization
• Display authorization
• Authorization for copying fields without displaying them onscreen when creating an asset
