Documentation
Definition
Screen layout for maintaining asset master data.
Using the screen layout rule, you can define:
- which fields are
- required
- optional
- suppressed
- the maintenance level in the asset hierarchy
- which fields are copied, when creating an asset using another asset master record as a reference.
You can define screen layout rules for general master data and for depreciation parameters within depreciation areas.
Supplementary Documentation - FELEI 0100
Procedure
Enter the screen layout rule that the system should automatically create during the generating process.
You cannot enter a screen layout rule that already exists.
Supplementary Documentation - FELEI 0110
Note
Please note that when creating assets, the screen layout is passed on from the asset class to the asset. This means that any changes made to the screen layout key in the asset class only affect assets created after the change was made. The already existing assets have to be changed using bulk processing.
