Definition

Specifies the automation level of an internal control task.

Use

SAP delivers the following three values, which are represented in numbers, for the automation level of an internal control task:

Automation    Description    Use

1    Automated    Specifies that the task is to be executed via the automation component SAP CPS. SAP CPS will analyze the spool list and determine the final status of the task automatically. SAP CPS can start intelligent further processing if you have made the relevant configurations.

2    Semi-automated    Specifies that the task, which is a job or a remote job, is to be executed and the result will be available in the Financial Closing cockpit application. The Financial Closing cockpit application will consider the job log and application log to determine the status of the task. You often need to inspect the result, that is, the spool list, in more detail and set the final status manually.

3    Manual    Specifies that the task, which is a note, a transaction, or a program, is to be executed manually. You need to set the final status of the task manually.

You can define new values represented in letters from A to Z.
