Definition

You use this indicator to control which adjustment reason controls payroll simulation during flexible benefits enrolment via Employee Self Service (ESS).

To allow employees to run payroll simulation during enrollment, you must set the payroll simulation indicator assigned for each enrolment adjustment reason you have created.

Do not set the payroll simulation indicator for any adjustment reason where you do not wish to offer employees a payroll simulation option.

Note:

• Annual enrolment of flexible benefits is created using a specific adjustment reason, in the same way that life event change enrolment is also created using a pre-defined adjustment reason.
• Running open simulation payroll will negatively affect system performance. Because of this, concurrent simulation payroll is restricted to a maximum value of 50 simultaneous simulations only.
