The factor entered here determines how many artificial totals records are created in place of one original totals record.

Example
You have entered factor 10.
If the condition is fulfilled (see table FAGL_RAND_RANGE), the system creates a random number between 1 and 10 for each line item during posting and writes this number to the randomization field.
In this way, 10 artificial totals records are created instead of one original totals record.
Note:
Although the data volume is increased for totals records that fulfill the conditions in table FAGL_RAND_RANGE, we advise against entering exorbitant factors such as 99.
We recommend that you first use a factor between 5 and 10. If you continue to encounter performance problems, you can reduce the factor.
