Use
If you set this indicator, you can activate the Customizing switch for new Asset Accounting (PARALLEL_VAL
) in the current client even though errors were found during the check.
Caution:
The current client cannot be a production client and the Customizing switch PARALLEL_VAL
must already have the status In Preparation or Active.
If you cannot or do not want to correct the reported errors in the client, you can use this option to activate the Customizing switch anyway. However, forcing activation despite an unsuccessful check leads to inconsistency between existing data and new Customizing or postings completed after the activation. Therefore, you can only use this option if data consistency within the client is not important (in test clients or practice clients, for example).
