In the IMG activity Specify Number Ranges, in Customizing for waste management, you can specify number ranges for the waste approval, and define whether an internal or external number assignment is possible.
When you create a waste approval, waste management business partners are allocated to the waste approval under partner as follows:
- The system allocates the waste management business partner that you specified on the first tab page.
- If you selected a disposal channel before you chose the waste approval tab page (if you enter a waste approval for this channel) the waste management business partner that is specified in this channel is also allocated.
- If the system cannot determine a transregional authority-assigned number for an allocated waste management business partner, it attempts to determine a transregional authority-assigned number from the data for a higher-level waste management business partner. If this is possible, the system also allocates this higher-level waste management business partner to the waste approval. For further information on how the transregional authority-assigned number is determined, see the documentation for the IMG activity Specify Validity Areas.
If you select an existing waste approval, the waste management business partners already allocated to this waste approval are specified under Partner. These are enhanced by waste management business partners that are allocated as described above, provided these have not already been allocated.
