Definition
This indicator stipulates that the cancelled schedule line is no longer to be used in revenue distribution. The cancellation reason is thus relevant to revenue distribution if you set this indicator.
This indicator is evaluated for cancellation reasons that are recorded at schedule line level.
Use
It is possible to use cancelled schedule lines in revenue distribution. If you use a cancellation reason for which this indicator is set when cancelling schedule lines, this schedule line will not be used during future revenue distribution that makes use of this schedule line.
Examples
- You work with advance billing documents. You have created an order billing document for a billing dataset and have performed revenue distribution for this document. You want to cancel the billing dataset and its associated schedule lines before the service date. To do so, you should first cancel the order billing document followed by the billing dataset and associated schedule lines.
You should use a cancellation reason for which the indicator has not been set to ensure that the system uses the same schedule lines for outstanding revenue distribution in the cancellation document as those used for the original order billing documents. - You want to cancel a schedule line before billing has been performed. If you do not wish this schedule line to be considered in future revenue distribution, you should use a cancellation reason for which the indicator is set.
