Documentation
Definition
Specifies the report application.
Dependencies
You use the fields Report application level 1, Report application level 2, 3, 4, and 5 to determine hierarchies that are used for structuring the report tree.
Example:
A report tree for the report application Material master is defined:
- Level 1 = Material
- Level 2 = Specification
- Level 3, 4, 5 = not defined
Note:
- You can define up to five levels above the report generation variant (RGV) level.
The report tree for the data above would thus look like the following:
1st level
| 2nd level
Material |
--------Specification
--------RGV
---------Report
Supplementary Documentation - ESEREPAPPL0001
Use
The assignment of a report application controls the view that appears for a report category in the report shipping orders hit list.
Note:
For the report category MSDS you can assign the report application MATMASTER or SUBMASTER. In both cases the standard view appears in the hit list with the material name and specification fields.
Dependencies
You define report applications in the IMG activity Specify Report Applications.
