Documentation
Definition
The indicator specifies that when you import a specification that was assigned a value from a passive phrase library, the passive phrases used are converted to phrases in the active phrase library.
As a prerequisite for this, the passive phrases must have a phrase reference to a phrase from the active phrase library.
Use
The SAP system uses the corresponding referencing phrase from the active library as a value assignment.
The value assignment is deleted if the passive phrase is not used as a reference phrase for an active phrase.
Dependencies
The SAP system then determines if the passive phrase exists as reference phrase and has the indicator O (transfer original text). If so, the corresponding active phrase is used as a value assignment.
If no reference phrase is found with this indicator, the SAP system checks if a reference phrase exists without this indicator, and then uses this phrase from the active library as a value assignment.
Supplementary Documentation - ESEIEPHCON0001
Definition
The indicator specifies that when a specification is exported that was assigned a different phrase library other than the export library as a value assignment, the relevant active phrases are converted to the export library.
The requirement for this is that you have defined phrase references between the phrases in the export library and the phrases in the active library.
Use
The phrase text of the corresponding active phrase is always exported and the phrase key of the reference phrase is used for this. In this way, you can assign your own company library to the value assignments and convert to a legally required library, for example, when exporting.
Dependencies
If the Transfer original text indicator was set, the text of the active phrase corresponds to the text of the passive phrase.
If no phrase reference exists, the SAP System checks whether a user-defined text type is assigned to the characteristic. In this case, the phrase text for the phrase is exported as a user-defined text in all languages and the phrase see user-defined text is written in the characteristic field.
If a user-defined text cannot be exported, none of the value assignments values can be exported.
