Definition
When substances are imported, identifiers are found in the system. You can choose between two types of search:
- Search using the standardized identifier
- Search using the non-standardized identifier
If you do not select the indicator, the system searches using the standardized identifier.
Example:
Identifier in system: Import test (standardized "IMPORTTEST")
Identifier in import file: Import test (standardized "IMPORTTEST")
The system finds this identifier for the corresponding specification and does not create it again. Deletion type 1 (delete all specification data) is an exception. When you use this deletion type, all existing specification data and identifiers are first deleted and the new, imported data is then created.
If the indicator is selected, the system searches using the non-standardized identifier. If this cannot be found, it is created by the system regardless of the selected deletion type.
