Use
Equipment number with which a material requiring an equipment number is stored.
Procedure
If a material requires an equipment number, the equipment number must be given with every movement of the material.

Use
Enter in this field the number of the equipment that you want to create, change or display.
Dependencies
There are two possibilities when you are creating a piece of equipment:
- Internal number assignment is active in your company.
Leave this field blank. The system will allocate a number automatically from an internal number range when you save the master record.
- External number assignment is active in your company.
Enter an equipment number in this field, paying attention to any company guidelines.

Use
When you are creating a new piece of equipment, use this field when you want to use another piece of equipment as a reference.
Procedure
Enter the number of a piece of equipment that you want to use as a reference. After you press ENTER, you can select in a dialog box which data should be copied from the master record of the reference equipment to the master record of the equipment to be created.

Use
This field can contain the number of a piece of equipment allocated.
Procedure
If you are in the creating or changing mode, enter the number of the piece of equipment that you want to allocate.

Use
If you want to create a completion confirmation for the recurring order that is specified in the master record of a piece of equipment, enter the piece of equipment in this field.

- If you enter a piece of equipment in this field, the system ignores all entries that you have made in the fields Completion confirmation, Order, Operation and Sub-operation.
- If you also make an entry in the field Functional location, in addition to specifying a piece of equipment, and a recurring order was entered for both technical objects, the system displays a dialog box, in which you can select the required recurring order.
