Definition

You use differentiations to combine various differentiation terms. The subledger positions for securities and listed options and futures are then formed according to these differentiation terms.

You can define various differentiations (by first creating a name for the differentiation and then assigning the desired differentiation terms to the name). You must then assign the differentiations for each valuation area and/or Accounting code so that it is possible to define the positions differently per valuation area and/or Accounting code.
