Examples
If you have ordered 200 pc, MRP initially reckons with the quantity 200. As soon as an MRP-relevant confirmation arrives, the materials planning system takes the more up-to-date data as a basis. If, for example, an inbound delivery of 180 pc is posted, the "quantity reduced (MRP)" is 180. An open quantity of 20 pc remains.
