Use
With this layout type you control:
- How the system displays the available capacities and capacity requirements (continuously over time or in period splits)
- How the system determines during finite scheduling the time interval that has sufficient capacity in order to dispatch the operation (continuously or based on a period split)
There are the following layout types:
- Display data per period
- Available capacitites and capacity requirements are displayed per period.
- In finite scheduling, operations can only be loaded into periods with sufficient available capacity.
- If there is sufficient available capacity on the planned dates then an operation is dispatched on these dates.
- If there is not sufficient remaining available capacity the system continues to look for remaining available capacity depending on the planning direction at the start of the next period or at the end of the last period.
- Display data continuously over time
In finite scheduling, operations are dispatched to the nearest second.
- Layout periodic-continuous through time
- Available capacities and capacity requirements are displayed per period.
- In finite scheduling, operations are dispatched to the nearest second independently of the period split.
You define the period split in Period profile
For the display per period and the periodic-continuous display you specify the earliest possible or latest possible dispatching time in a period in the Profile for the capacity planning table tabular form.
