Definition

Use this field to prevent users from changing the configuration in a target document when copying information from a source document.

If you use this option, the configuration in the target document is set to read-only. Using this option forces the user to return to the source document if he or she wants to make modifications to the configuration. Note that any changes made to the source document do not affect the target document.

This field is useful, for example, when copying a configuration from one sales order to another. You can use this field to require that the user choose only the configuration options defined in the original order, and prevent he or she from making changes in anything other than the source document.
