Definition
You use this indicator to specify that the task list will be deleted with a deletion program during the next archiving run if you selected deletion flags as a selection criterion for the archiving run.
You can reset the deletion flag anytime before the next archiving run.

Definition
Indicator you set if you want the recipe to be completely deleted at the next reorganization run, with all its change states.
Use
You can use deletion flags as a recipe selection criterion for deletion or archiving, as long as you have chosen the Delete the whole validity period option. You do not have set a deletion flag to delete a recipe.
If you set a deletion flag for a recipe, this recipe can no longer be used. You can however remove the deletion flag when ever you like, as long as the archiving or deletion program has not been run.
