Documentation
Definition
Key for a business partner that, for the purposes of recipient determination, replaces the original business partner or is used as additional correspondence recipient.
Use
When you create correspondence, the system checks the master data to determine whether alternative or additional correspondence recipients have been defined.
You can define the correspondence recipients as follows:
- By specifying the business partner directly
- By using a calculation formula
In this case, the activity defined determines the calculation formula to be used. In Customizing, assign a relevant function module to the activity Configure Correspondence Activities.
Example
A customer wants correspondence to go to a different business partner, rather than to himself. In this case, you enter the required business partner in the master data as alternative correspondence recipient.
