Definition

The order is a required value for shifting mode. It defines the order in which the different source number ranges are moved into the target number range.

For example, there are source intervals (company code/number range number):

1000/01 - rule 'Shifting mode', order 1

2000/01 - rule 'Shifting mode, order 2

The target interval for both of them is 3000/01. It means that the numbers from the number range interval 1000/01 will be moved into the target interval 3000/01 directly after its last number. The numbers from the number range interval 2000/01 will be moved into the interval 3000/01 after the numbers of the interval 1000/01.
