Table KNVK contains the contact persons at the customers. The number of the customer to which a given contact person belongs is NOT a key field in this table. Consequently, if customer records are merged all contact persons from all original customers are transferred to the target customer record.
Using this option, you can decide if you really want to accept ALL existing contact persons (for Release 4.6 and higher, a postprocessing program must be run to adapt central address management accordingly) or if you want to accept only the contact persons from the customer that has been given priority (which means that the KNVK records for the other customers are deleted by a preprocessing program!).

Example: You want to merge customer records 4710, 4711 and 4712 into a single new customer record called 4709. For each of these three customer records, one contact person has been defined in the system. Customer record 4712 has been given priority.
