Documentation
Definition
Indicates whether the system triggers a life event one day before, and not on the exact day that you specified as the life event date in the binding of the workflow definition.
Example
Your long-term incentive plan stipulates that if an employee leaves the enterprise, he or she must forfeit all awards and can no longer exercise them.
You depict this in the system by assigning to the COMPANYLEFT event with business object type BUS1065 (employee) a life event for which you have selected the Award Forfeited field in the Set Up Changes Due to Life Event step.
The start date of a leaving action (triggered by the workflow event COMPANYLEFT), however, is the first day that the employee is no longer employed by the enterprise, and not the last day of employment. So the employee could exercise his or her awards up to and on the first day that he or she is no longer employed by the enterprise.
If you only want the employee to be able to exercise awards until the last day that he or she is employed at the enterprise and including that day, select this field.
