Definition

Internally-processed activities in networks and production orders are supported by period-specific costing.

Use

Set this indicator to activate period-specific costing.

The system distributes the planned work in the network activity according to the distribution key of the capacity requirements and valuates it with the activity price of the period concerned. If no plan activity price is maintained in future periods, a planned activty input is valuated with the most current activity price found. This is controlled using the strategy for valuating the internal activities.

• In order to distribute the planned work to the individual periods, a distribution key must have been stored in the activity or in the work center. The distribution key in the activity has priority. If no distribution key is maintained for the planned work, the latter is distributed equally over all periods.

• For general costs activities in networks, a distribution key distributes the planned costs to the individual periods.
