Documentation
Definition
If you set this indicator, VMI sales orders are scheduled if a corresponding setting is made in SAP APO Customizing.
Dependencies
The enhanced scheduling of VMI orders must be activated in SAP APO Customizing before scheduling can be made in SAP APO. You make this setting sunder SCM Advanced Planner and Optimizer -> Supply Chain Planning -> Supply Network Planning (SNP) -> Vendor Managed Inventory -> Activate Extended Scheduling.
It is only useful to set this indicator in the integration model if the ATP check is carried out in the ERP system.
If the ATP check is made in SAP APO, the scheduling of sales orders is also executed automatically in SAP APO. In this case, it is not necessary to set this indicator.
Note
The selection options for material, plant, and goods recipient under VMI Scheduling are interpreted as additional restrictions to the entries made under General Selection Options for Materials. Consistent scheduling is only guaranteed if the material-plant(-goods recipient) combination of the integration model is maintained correctly.
