Definition
This indicator defines that force elements and supply relationships that are used in the Defense Forces & Public Security (DFPS) component are selected for the transfer to SAP APO.
Supply relationships are created as transportation lanes in SAP APO and force elements are created as locations of the type storage location MRP area. All the materials for a force element are also transferred to SAP APO as location products.
Use
You use this indicator to include force elements with their supply relationships in an integration model. You can use the detailed selection criteria to restrict the objects to be transferred:
- You specify one or more force elements that are to be selected and transferred.
- By selecting a usage type, you define that the system explodes the organizational structure for the specified force element, and how this occurs. As a result of the explosion, the system determines all the force elements for this organizational structure that are linked by supply relationships, and automatically includes them in the selection.
As soon as you specify a usage type, the system always determines the relevant organizational structure and the supply relationships.
For performance reasons, we recommend that you select only one force element per organizational structure.
- If you do not specify a usage type, the organizational structure is not exploded. In this case, the system determines the force elements that can be reached directly from the specified force elements via supply relationships. These are automatically included in the selection.
- You can use Stock, Provisions, and Stock and Provisions to define whether a force element with stock, with provisions, or with stock and provisions is selected to be transferred to SAP APO.
The system automatically selects and transfers the supply relationships for the selected force elements.
