Definition

Amount that is calculated per rounding unit of the original amount.

Use

The field is only required if inaccuracies would occur in the calculation of charges when you enter a percentage rate (for which you can enter up to two decimal places).

Dependencies

The field is only taken into account in the calculation of charges when you have not entered any percentage rate for a percentage charge.

Example

No dunning charge is due for a dunning balance under EUR 45; there is a charge of EUR 2.92 for EUR 45.00 to 89.99 and a charge of EUR 2.92 for every further EUR 45.

Solution

Do not enter a percentage charge.

Make sure that the original amount is rounded down to integral multiples of EUR 45.

Enter EUR 2.92 for the charge per rounding unit.
