Definition

Specifies using an ID with a maximum of 5 characters the application that generates external time data. This information refers to the data record you want to change.

Normally you would use an abbreviation for the product that is to be coupled with the Time Sheet. If there is just one external application, you could use "EXT", for example.

Notes

If your external application ID contains letters, you should always enter them as capital letters.

To be able to identify the record of an external application that you want to change, you must complete the following fields:

• CATS_AWSYS (External Logical System of Record to be Changed)
• CATS_AWTYP (External Application of Record to be Changed)
• CATS_AWKEY (Document Number of Record to be Changed)
