Definition

Specfies using an ID with a maximum of ten characters an external system that is identified as a logical system within the SAP environment. This information refers to the record you want to change.

A logical system is a system on which an application operates based on shared data. It is used in the ALE environment: 2 or more logical systems communicate with one another.

Notes

If your logical system ID contains letters, you should always enter them as capital letters.

To be able to identify the record of an external application that you want to change, you must complete the following fields:

• CATS_AWSYS_OLD (External Logical System of Record to be Changed)
• CATS_AWTYP_OLD (External Application of Record to be Changed)
• CATS_AWKEY_OLD (Document Number of Record to be Changed)
