Definition
An address list can have several versions. Each version has a version number which uniquely identifies the version.
One version is used to print the direct mailing campaign. This version is the standard version and is displayed on the direct mailing overview screen. On the version overview screen, the standard version is selected ('X') in the corresponding field and is highlighted in a different color than the other (additional) versions.
Additional versions are only used for processing the address list (for example, set operations).
