Definition
Key for the type of warehouse movement. Each warehouse movement (for example, goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfer) is processed in the system by means of a movement type.
Use
The movement type influences the creation of the transfer order in many ways (for example, printing, defining the interim storage area confirmation, and so on).

Procedure
Enter a movement type that is suitable for manual generation of a transfer requirement (or transfer order, as appropriate).
Procedure for System Administrator
To transfer storage units from the ID point to the destination storage type, you can create a new movement type for this purpose.
Afterwards, you can enter the new movement type into the "Parameters for Warehouse Management Procedures" table so that it appears as the default movement type for this transaction. In the parameter table you must include the new movement type for transaction LT09 - "ID point function for storage units".
