Definition
Number of days on which the calculation of daily requirements is based.
The system then works out a calculation period in the past, starting from the current date. Daily requirements are calculated as the arithmetic mean of total consumption within this period.
Alternatively, requirements can be calculated on the basis of forecast data for a particular period in the future.
