Definition
This indicator defines whether local ledgers are used in Special Purpose Ledger system configuration. In particular, you define whether company codes are offered for processing.
The indicator is also important for direct posting. If the indicator is not set, no local ledgers are posted to in Special Purpose Ledger.
This indicator has an additional significance in conjunction with the 'Global ledgers' indicator. If neither of these indicators are set, you cannot post to the Special Purpose Ledger at all.
