Definition

You use the "condition form" to characterize a condition item as a zero condition, a fixed condition or a statistical condition.

Use

Zero condition
A condition has an 'effective from' date but no 'effective to' date. The 'effective to' date is the 'effective from' date of the next, more recent condition item.
If a condition item is to be effective until a certain date without being replaced, a zero condition is used to cancel the condition item. In the zero condition, the fields relevant for financial mathematics are set to zero, and only the 'effective from' date is used.

Fixed condition
A 'fixed condition' is a position item that is not recalculated for an alternative effective interest rate or term end.

Statistical condition
A 'statistical condition' is an inactive condition item for which no flow records are generated. This type of condition item is used purely for information purposes.
