Documentation
Definition
The Data sel. indicator (determine data selection) enables you to determine that data is selected for infotype headers depending on the infotypes and/or subtypes to be processed or displayed.
Use
- If you set the Data sel. indicator, the data valid on the start date of the infotype record currently being processed or displayed is used to build up the infotype header.
- If you do not set the Data sel. indicator, the data valid on the system date is used to build up the infotype header.
Dependencies
- If table T588H Infotype Header Data Selection Control does not contain an entry for a specific combination of header modification and infotype/subtype, the setting is used in accordance with the Choose data indicator processed in table T582A Infotypes - Customer-Specific Settings.
- If the Data sel. and Choose data indicators are not compatible, the data valid on the system date is used to build up the infotype header.
If you want to use the system date and the start date of the infotype record currently being processed or displayed in the same header, you must first set the Choose data indicator and then make the required settings.
