Definition
This switch specifies that the system is to read the VAT registration number (VRN) from the customer or vendor master record if this number was not saved in the document.
Use
Normally, the VRN must always be saved in all documents relevant for the EC sales list. It is useful to activate this switch only if all customers relevant for the EC sales list only use the VRN of their sovereign of incorporation.
If this switch is activated, a VRN saved in the document is used. It is read from the master record only if a VRN is not saved in the document.
If this switch is not activated and a VRN was not saved in the document, the document appears in the error list. The VRN then has to be entered manually in the relevant document. Only once this has been done, can the EC sales list be finally created.
