Definition

The write phase of all archiving objects that support interruption is interrupted when the specified data volume (in MB) is reached. In the current archiving session, the file size of the closed archive file and the size of the archive file that is currently being written are added and compared to the specified limit.

If the time limit (max. duration in hours) has already been exceeded, the process is interrupted.

The Interruption Possible indicator in transaction AOBJ shows whether an archiving object can be interrupted.

Value 0 means that no volume limit applies.

Example

Value = 1: All running, interruptible write jobs that try to archive more than 1MB of data are interrupted.
