Definition

Maximum number of material master records with incorrect control record at which the period closing program is to terminate.

Use

When running the period closing program, there may be material master records whose current period is incorrect compared with the company code period. If the number of such records exceeds the number specified here, the period closing program will terminate.

Procedure

Examples

Such records can occur if a plant is assigned to another company code for a certain time and then assigned back to the first company code.

Normally, this can happen only during the test phase when introducing the system. It must not occur when the system is in productive operation.
