Definition

Indicates whether the archive file is indexed by the archive information structure.

Explanation

An archive file cannot be indexed by an information structure if at least one of the follwing applies:

  • The information structure has not filled. This occurs if the info structure was not active during the delete run or the following fill.
  • The archive file does not contain any data that can be incorporated into the information structure. If this is the case it can only be indexed if the archive file contains data in table fields which are defined as the key to the archive info structure
  • Entries in the information structure are already available for other archives with the same key. This may occur if the same data is present in several archives. You will definitely create an entry if the archive key is defined as the key field in an information structure.
