Definition

You can change the user status of the order from Ready for process to In progress.

Dependencies

  • PTP (Put-to-Process) is only active if you use a grouped CMC user status profile that you have defined in CMC Customizing.
  • Furthermore, it is a prerequisite that you have maintained the PTP indicator(s) and the WIP indicator for this CMC user status profile.
  • If user verification has been activated in Customizing, a dialog box appears in which you have to enter your user name and password. The system checks whether the user name/password matches the user name and password of the user logged on to the system. If these match, and if you have the required authorizations, the Change order information dialog box appears in which you can change the status.
  • If the order is linked to other orders, they are displayed in the dialog box and their status also changes to match the selected order.
