Use

Within the RMA calculation, this Business Add-In (BAdI) enables you to access values from periods with a different time period from the one you are calculating.

Requirements

Structure WRMA_COMM contains the information about the fiscal year variant (field PERIV), posting period (field PERIOD), previous period (field PERIODB), reclassification version for the current period (field RCLASV), and reclassification version for the previous period (field RCLASVB) currently being processed by the RMA.

Standard settings

The default implementation WRMA_PERIODS_MARS_REVERSE for this BAdI determines the additional period fields as follows:

  • PERIV2: Fiscal year period for company code
  • PERIOD2: Current posting period for PERIV2
  • PERIODB2: Previous period for PERIV2
  • RCLASV2: Reclassification version of type "1" (FI) for PERIV2
  • RCLASVB2: Reclassification version of type "2" (Reporting) for PERIV2

Activities

Ensure that you assign the additional period fields to the appropriate accesses within the access sequences used by the condition types of your RMA calculation schema. In the SAP default Customizing, the additional period fields are assigned to the access sequence V_MARS (markdown accruals, based on previous period 2).

Example

In the weekly-based RMA calculation, the system accesses the aggregation of the weeks within a month period, for example to perform the following tasks:

  1. Resolve the markdown accruals for all weeks of a month within the first week of the following month (carried out using default implementation WRMA_PERIODS_MARS_REVERSE for BAdI WRMA_ACCESS_ADDITIONAL_PERIOD).
  2. Determine whether an inventory count has been carried out within the same month but in another week than the one currently being calculated by the RAM.
