Use

In this IMG activity, you can maintain the shared memory for the design layer. The design layer data, that is, the Customizing of design objects, can be saved in the shared memory. All running sessions are attached to this memory and read the data in the memory. Every session is attached to the memory from the first call of the design layer until the session is closed. As a consequence, overall memory usage decreases.

To work with the shared memory for the design layer, you need to include the area CL_BSP_WD_SHM_AREA..
