Use

In this IMG activity, you specify the types of disposal documents that you can use in the Waste Management component. For each disposal document type, you can enter the following data and thus control the processing of the disposal documents and the data output on the disposal document:

  • You can specify a program name and screen numbers for the screen on which the data in disposal documents of the disposal document type is processed, and thus provide individual data entry screens for the individual disposal document types. The program name SAPLEHSWA_220 and the screen numbers 1000 (data entry with tab pages) and 1001 (data entry without tab pages) are used as standard.

    Notes:

  • You can specify function modules that are called before the screen is called (PBO time) and after data entry (PAI time).
  • You can specify the maximum number of wastes that can be output on a disposal document of the disposal document type.
  • You can specify the unit of measure that is automatically added in disposal documents of the disposal document type if you enter a waste quantity without a unit of measure for the disposal document (see Unit of measure).
  • You can specify the return period, in other words the period within which a disposal document of the disposal document type, or a copy of it, must have been returned to the waste generator by the waste disposer.

    Note:

You can specify the return period here for the disposal document type or enter the return period for the waste generators involved in the master data for Waste Management. The period entered for the waste generator has priority.

  • You can specify the following number ranges:
    • You can specify an internal number range from which the system assigns numbers for disposal documents of the disposal document type.
    • You can specify an external number range from which you can assign numbers for disposal documents of the disposal document type.
    • You can specify internal number ranges from which the system assigns the numbers stipulated by regional and transregional authorities for disposal documents of the disposal document type (authority-assigned numbers).
    • You can specify external number ranges from which you can assign the numbers stipulated by regional and transregional authorities for disposal documents of the disposal document type.

      Note:

    • If you use the Waste Disposal Industry component in the mySAP Utilities business solution, and want to map a collective disposal procedure, you have to specify an internal number range for the transregional authority-assigned numbers for dock receipts in this IMG activity. In the collective disposal procedure the system selects an internal number for the transregional authority-assigned numbers when it prints the dock receipt. These numbers on the dock receipts are then transferred to the disposal document and printed on it. We recommend that you also specify an internal number range for the transregional authority-assigned numbers for the disposal documents, otherwise you have to enter this number manually on the disposal document.

You define the number ranges in the Specify Number Ranges IMG activity. For more information about number ranges, see the documentation for this IMG activity and the application help.

  • You can specify prefixes for numbers stipulated by the transregional and regional authorities for a disposal document of the disposal document type. These prefixes are then output with the corresponding disposal document number when a disposal document is printed if the disposal document number is assigned by the system (internal number assignment).
  • Numbers that have been assigned by the authorities for the waste management business partners involved must frequently be specified on disposal documents. For each disposal document type, you can specify a validity area that the system uses for automatically determining the numbers assigned by transregional authorities for the waste management business partners. You can find out how these numbers are determined in the documentation for the Specify Validity Areas IMG activity.
  • You can specify a role that waste management business partners must have so that they can be assigned to a disposal document of the disposal document type as temporary storage facilities.
  • You can specify a role that the system uses to determine which of the waste management business partners assigned to a disposal document of the disposal document type is proposed in the input help as a search parameter if you want to assign a waste approval to the disposal document.
  • You can specify whether the corresponding authority-assigned number of the higher-level waste management business partner is output on the disposal documents of the disposal document type for the waste management business partners for which no authority-assigned number can be determined.
  • You can specify whether the current date is automatically proposed in the Handover date and Takeover date fields when you assign a waste generator or a waste transporter to a disposal document of the disposal document type.
  • You can specify that you can only create disposal documents of the disposal document type from the Disposal Processing component if you specify a waste approval (Waste apprvl reqd indicator).
  • You can specify that you receive a warning if you assign a waste generator, waste disposer, and waste that do not occur together in a disposal channel in the master data to a disposal document of the disposal document type (Disposal channel reqd indicator).
  • You can specify that the wastes from the disposal channels in an assigned waste approval are transferred automatically for disposal documents of the disposal document type (Transf.waste fr.app. indicator).
  • You can specify that you can only assign the wastes that occur in the disposal channels of the assigned waste approval to a disposal document of the disposal document type to which you have assigned a waste approval.
  • You can specify whether waste generations, waste disposals, and waste transports have to be created in the master data for wastes and waste management business partners so that they can be assigned to a disposal document of the disposal document type (Partner/waste check and All wst/partn. comb. indicators).
  • You can specify that the waste codes that you specified in the waste specifications are automatically assigned to the wastes in a disposal document of the disposal document type.
  • You can specify that the waste codes that were specified on the Approval tab page for a disposal document of the disposal document type are automatically assigned to the wastes in the disposal document (Waste codes from approval indicator).
  • You can specify that for disposal documents of the disposal document type, the waste codes that were assigned to the wastes are checked against the waste codes that were specified on the Approval tab page (CodeChk:wst.agst doc and Only identical codes indicators).
  • You can specify that in the total quantity fields, the totals of the waste quantities are calculated automatically and that total quantities entered are distributed between the individual waste items (Calculate total qty and Split total quantity indicators).
  • You can specify a report generation variant that is used when di
