Use
In this IMG activity, you check and complete the settings for waste-relevant material types that you made in the Specify Waste-Relevant Material Types IMG activity. Furthermore, you use the following data to define further processing in inventory management for the individual functions:
- You can specify a plant for which the function is executed.
- You can specify an operation that is triggered in inventory management when you execute the application type.
- You can specify, for the operation in inventory management, a movement type that is used when the operation is executed in inventory management.
Standard settings
Default settings are delivered.
Activities
- Call the IMG activity.
- Under Specify Inventory Management for Each Material Type, check whether you have set the InvMgtActv indicator for all waste-relevant material types for which the waste quantities entered can be posted as stock to inventory management from Waste Management.
- Enter the required data under Specify Movement Types. Ensure that you only assign movement types that are appropriate for the operation in inventory management. Appropriate assignments of movement types to operations in inventory management include, for example:
Operation Movement type
1 (Goods receipt IM) 501
2 (Goods issue IM) 201, 502
3 (Stock transfer- plant IM) 301
4 (Stock transfer -
storage location IM) 311
If you need your own movement types alongside the standard movement types, create them in the IMG activity Copy, Change Movement Types. Then check and complete the entries in the tables T158B and T156N for the transaction code WAE01.
Example:
If you want to post and post change in the stock in quality inspection, enter the following data in this IMG activity:
Plnt Op. type IM op. S MvT Function text
<Plant> SAP001 1 X 503 Post
<Plant> SAP003 3 X 321 Post change
Then complete the tables T158B and T156N for the transaction code WAE01.
Further notes
You can only specify one operation in inventory management for the standard functions Post, Post Change, Clear, and Order & Clear supplied with the system, and only one movement type for the functions Post, Clear, and Order & Clear. If you want to extend the standard functions so that, for example, different movement types are used in inventory management depending on the data records selected in disposal processing, you must program this accordingly in the function module for the function. You specify the function module in the Specify Functions IMG activity.
