In this step you control how listing conditions and assortment modules are archived.
The following options exist:
- Create archive files
- Start deletion programs
- Retrieve archived files
- Manage the archive
Archiving takes place in the object W_SOR.
The following objects are grouped together to an archiving object and archived together:
- Assortment module header table (WSOH)
- Assortment module item table (WSOP)
- Assortment module description table (WSOT)
- Assortment module to stores assignment table (WSOF)
- Listing condition table (WLK1)
The following selections can be made on the next screen:
- Distribution chain (sales organization and distribution channel)
- Assortment
- Material
- Sales unit
- Module name
- Past period (Number of days in the past the system goes back to write to the archive file all the listing conditions and assortment modules as of then and earlier that are no longer valid.)
You can define whether the deletion program should physically delete the data in the archiving object from the database or simulate deletion in a test run.
Requirements
Archiving object W_SOR must be maintained in transaction SAR2 beforehand.
Recommendation
Please note that an archive file must be generated before anything can be physically deleted.
Activities
You can create individual variants for archiving.
Further notes
Choose Environment->Customizing to make the following settings for the archiving object:
- Name of the logical file
- Size of the archive file
- Variants of the deletion program
- Automatic starting time of the deletion program
