In this step, you define the condition tables for message records in Agency Business.
Example
As a result, you can control message determination for a particular combination of purchasing organization and invoicing party.
Requirements
Standard settings
The following condition tables are provided in the standard system:
- 170 Purchasing organization and invoicing party
- 171 Sales org./distribution channel/division and payer
- 172 Company code and invoicing party
- 173 Company code and payer
Recommendation
You should retain the standard condition tables unchanged. If you want to make changes, you should create new condition tables. To do this, copy an existing condition table and make the necessary changes.
Activities
- Check the extent to which you can use the SAP standard condition tables for message control.
- If you want to create a new condition table, proceed as follows:
- Enter the name of the table that you want to create. Take account of the name space convention.
- When you create without reference, enter the table type (e.g. pooled table) for the condition type.
- Enter a description for the condition table.
- From the list of permitted fields, enter the fields you require for your condition table.
- Generate the new condition table.
- Enter the condition tables in the access sequences. This establishes the link between message conditions, access sequence and message condition record.
