In this step, you define profiles for product presentation.
These profiles can be assigned to one or more Online Stores in the step Online Stores.
The profile determines how the products are displayed and how the system searches for them.
You can configure how products are identified based on the catalog title, material number or material short text.
For displaying the prices of generic materials, the From price and To price are used.
You can define criteria for searching for products. You can also enter a function module and an RFC destination to use an alternative search algorithm that can run outside the local SAP System.
For selecting variants for generic materials where more than one variant-creating characteristic is involved, you can define the threshold value as of which the screen is entered with a selection box for each characteristic or the screen switches to a selection box for each characteristic.
