Use

Purchasing groups control which pricing schema is used for calculating the purchase price in a trading contract and which purchasing document type is used for the purchase order.

You can maintain following parameters:

Default Values

  • Default Currency
  • Default Exchange Rate Type
  • Delivery Address

    You can define which address is to be used as shipping address.

  • Read Purchasing Info Record

    You set this flag to have the system import the purchasing info record into the trading contract. This record can be used to supply default values in the trading contract.

Price Determination

  • Purchase Price Determination Sequence

    This parameter defines how the purchase price is determined for the sales price calculation in the trading contract. You must define the price determination sequence itself in retail pricing in advance.

Purchasing Charactaristic

  • Document Category

    This parameter controls which type of document is created as a follow-on document.

  • Order Type

    This parameter defines which order type is used when creating a purchase order.
