An access sequence defines the sequence in which conditions are accessed in message determination. It is not possible for you to access the condition tables directly. An access sequence can include more than one condition table. Access sequences are entered in the message type. In this step, you define the access sequences for the Trading Contract messages.

Example

Requirements

The standard system contains the following entries:

  • WTC1 Access condition table 006 (sales organization/distribution channel/division/customer)
  • WTM1 Access condition table 049 (company code)
  • WTV1 Access condition table 170 (purchasing organization/invoicing party (vendor)

Recommendation

SAP recommends working with the standard configuration. If you do, no further action is necessary.

Activities

Check that the access sequences listed in "Standard Settings" exist.

Define your access sequences for the Trading Contract. If you create your own access sequences, begin each key with the letter Y or Z, as these characters are reserved for user-defined access sequences in the standard system.
