Use
In this activity you can activate the substitution processing and influence control of it when generating a delivery.
You can use the following settings:
- Activate Substitution Processing
Defines if substitution processing is to be active in your system. The indicator is not set as default.
- Start replacement logic in the background
Controls the automatic start of the replacement logic on generation of the delivery.
If you do not set this indicator, then you must carry out the replacement logic manually in the worklist of substitutions to be processed. - Control of delivery block
In substitution processing, you can block the delivery for further processing by setting the indicator Block Delivery for Further Processing.
In addition, you must define a default value in the field Delivery Block (for example, 01: credit limit). In order to block the delivery for further processing, you must maintain both fields in combination. If you define a default value in the delivery block field, but do not activate the block, then the delivery is not blocked for further processing.Note
If you are working with an external Warehouse Management system and wish to prevent sending of a message, you must adjust your message schema. You must assign condition number 426 - Substitution to the relevant condition in your message schema.
If you are using decentralized Warehouse Management, then where the delivery is blocked for further processing, the system briefly sets the distribution status of the delivery to "D" and thus prevents the distribution of the delivery. - Number of days until deletion of substitution assignments
Defines the number of days from the substitution date, after which the system is to delete the entries from the assignment table.
- Update of switchover information
Defines whether the system is to evaluate the switchover proposals that have been generated on generation of the delivery for warehouse orders, and if they are to be updated to the database table of switchover information.
- Follow-up times for replacement and follow-up material
These define how long switchover information for replacement and follow-up material remains intact in the ERP System before the system deletes it.
