In this step you can perform the following tasks:
- Assign placement groups to a layout module
- Assign layouts or layout areas to one or more area schemas
Link layout modules (e.g. confectionery products) in a layout. This leads to the creation of layout areas.
A layout can be valid for one or more stores or departments with the same structure.
A layout module can be defined more than once within the same layout. The layout areas generated are given different consecutive numbers.
Any number of areas schemas can be assigned to a layout. The area schema together with the total sales area of the store allow you to carry out an area profitability analysis.
After the relevant Customizing settings have been made, each store can be assigned a layout and an area schema centrally in the plant master or for each department.
The assignment of materials to layout modules is carried out in the material master.
Layout maintenance is used in the advertising media function of Promotions. The layouts required are created in the background.
Requirements
Your system is configured as an SAP Retail System.
The layout, layout modules and area schemas and their descriptions must be maintained.
The layout type of an existing layout can be initialized by report SAPRWULT.
Activities
- Maintain the desired layouts.
- Assign materials to layout modules.
- Assign a layout and, if required, an area schema to an existing plant.
