Use

In this Customizing activity, you define ratings that are used at the time of answering the questions in GRC surveys.

A rating type can be created either individually or together for all of the following components: AC, PC, and RM.

For each rating type, you define the individual rating options in a numeric sequence. Each option has a user-defined text and a corresponding user-defined score, which can subsequently be used during survey valuation.

Requirements

You have maintained the maximum score in the Customizing activity Define Probability and Maximum Score.

Standard settings

Rating types are global entities and must not be changed if already used in questions. If you need new options, then you must define new rating types for options.

Activities

To define ratings for survey questions:

  1. Choose the New Entries pushbutton.
  2. Enter a two-character rating type and then select an Application Component from the dropdown list.
  3. Save your entry.
  4. Place the cursor on a rating type, and then double-click Rating Options in the left navigation pane.
  5. Choose the New Entries pushbutton.
  6. Select a rating type from the dropdown list.
  7. Enter a two-character numeric rating for the rating type.
  8. Enter a text for the rating.
  9. Enter a score for the rating. You can specify decimal places.
The score must be lower than or equal to the maximum score you maintained in the Customizing activity Define Probability and Maximum Score.
  10. Save the entry.
